Opononi Dance Hall Salsa party!!!

Hi all,

We spoke with Anita, the organizer in Rawene.  Here the main info:

1) the night will start at 6pm at the Opononi Dance hall;
2) About the dinner: in Opononi there is a restaurant, so in case we can go there. However Anita and the others will bring a plate to share and as she said, there will be plenty for us too. If someone feels to prepare something is welcome, but think at the 2hrs driving!! In case we can discuss this on Friday.
3) For the night the house has 5 bedrooms, and more spare mattresses. The owner should call us tomorrow so we can tell you more!!  
4) As far as we know at the moment only Nga and Mary will go back after the party..Please let us know if someone else want to come back!!!

Because the trip will last 2 hrs, our idea is to meet everyone at 3pm at the Dance Studio to be there around 5....eat anddddd partyy@@@

For any trouble plz, plz let us know ASAP

Hi guys...Here there is a reminder about the Advanced class changes:

- class on Friday 12th of Sept, cancelled. We will meet on Sunday 14th at Bank Street Social Club

- class on Friday 19th of Sept, moved the following Sunday 21st from 6 to 7pm at Instep Studio Dance

For the new Upcoming events:

- 14th of Sept from 6pm till late,  Salsa Night at Bank Street Social Club on Sunday ;

- 4th of October (Saturday night) Salsa Trip to Auckland;

It was a great great performance....and very fun..The breakfast all together before the exhibition, the trial at theatre, the performance and the after-party at the Butter Bank Factory...

Salsa Group perfomance

Here we are...the first perfomance of our SPECTACULAR salsa group...at Forum North!!

Enjoy an afternoon sampling the diverse styles of dance offered by Northland schools. A medley of contemporary, hip hop, ballet, modern jazz, tap, musical theatre and much more. Presented by Northland Ballet and Dance Inc. 

This will be our first pubblic performance within the INSTEP STUDIO DANCE SCHOOL!!!! Our beginner and intermediate students will perform a salsa show at the Forum North....

Afro Latin Fusion Lessons

Hola Salseros...This is post is to inform everyone that now in town started an Afro Latin fusion, Dances of the World, Creative movement lessons with visiting Colombian dancer Beatriz H Restrepo. Beatriz is the founder of the Colombian Ethnic Dance Ensemble, which over fourteen years performed in California, USA.

The lessons are held every Saturday at the Whatitiri Community Hall.
